Maia is a licensed social worker, clinical supervisor, and psychotherapist. She received her Master’s in Social Work from Augsburg University’s Multicultural Clinical Practice (MCCP) Program. Her experience includes: working in community-based mental health, acute crisis services, residential treatment facilities, and providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Maia is passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities and believes all folks deserve spaces that are safe and inclusive. Maia is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She is an LICSW and LPC board approved supervisor and provides clinical supervision for pre-licensed and licensed clinicians.

Maia describes her therapeutic approach as integrative, holistic, collaborative, and person-centered. She strives to create a space that inspires curiosity, healing, and growth.

Outside of her therapy practice, Maia loves cooking, reading, playing the sims, visiting local farmers markets and coffee shops, nature walks, and watching a good show.
