Maci received her undergraduate degree in Family Social Science with a minor in Family Violence Prevention from the University of Minnesota in 2018 and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Minnesota in 2020. She is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker and has experience working with children and adolescents in day treatment, hospital, outpatient clinic, and school settings. Maci enjoys working with children and teens ages 4-17 years old who are experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, mood symptoms, school issues, trauma, family conflict or divorce, and more. In her holistic and strengths-based approach, Maci seeks to meet children, teens, and/or families where they are, establish a warm and caring relationship, and connect through art, games, and play.

 

In addition to her social work practice, Maci holds a Holistic Health Coaching certificate from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and a Group Fitness Certification. She has a passion for supporting adolescents and adults in their journey to achieve a healthy, strong, and balanced life in mind, body, and spirit.

 

In her free time, Maci enjoys spending time at home with her husband and two dogs (Leo and Benny), teaching or taking group fitness classes, cooking, listening to podcasts, and hanging outdoors with family and friends.
