Amy provides individual therapy (ages 16+) and group therapy with a cognitive behavioral and mindfulness focus. She received her Masters degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary University in 2009.
She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a type of therapy that helps clients tolerate and process intense emotions, increase their ability to be in the moment, manage stress, and feel more effective in handling difficult relationships. Amy enjoys actively engaging clients in their treatment to make lasting changes to live more balanced lives.
Amy also enjoys many outdoor activities with her family, yoga, reading, and cooking. Her values include genuineness, honesty, and compassion.
Amy works with clients that are struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Panic, Bipolar, Obsessive Compulsive D/O, stress, and anger issues.
